Many people came to me before I gave my life to Jesus and all I heard from them was just "give your life to Jesus and all will be well. I used to probe their knowledge of whom they want me to give my life to. And all I found in them was nothing but lack of understanding of whom they claimed they believed in. I see men who go about dogmatically and ignorantly presenting their faith to people today. They are with little or no knowledge of the one they preached.

The Danger of Bible Illiteracy 

How can a preacher tell his congregation that Christians and Islamists are serving the same God. To him he might be trying to reconcile both parties. This is nothing but lack of biblical understanding and absolute blindness to the tenets of Islamic religion. To save your friend from the pit you must come to the understanding that he is in the pit and try to know the broadness and certain information about the pit to avoid being swallowed by the same pit while trying to rescue your friend.

Many who get born again under such people would surely turn back to their vomit after small affliction. No wonder we have many unstable people in the church today, building or erecting their lives on nothing. Christ is the foundation upon which everyone of us must build. If the foundation be destroyed what will a righteous do? Many have the foundation of their Christianity laid on sweet promises. Beware of sugar coated preaching in the name of encouraging religion-interfaithism.

You are born again today because someone told you that if you give your life to Christ your will be rich and have influence. To some it might be husband issue that caught their attention and once your husband matter has been settled you are back to the world because you have no foundation in Christ.

You have never met Christ you have only being able to meet your husband. What next? you don't know, because all they told you about Jesus was that He is Jehovah Jireh, the all provider. So at the centre of your relationship with Jesus is your selfish reason for following Him. 

We are counting numbers in churches and rejoicing that we are there, yet heaven is weeping for many so called members that have no root in Christ. They know themselves, they are always very dry and empty, void of life. We come every service days to warm them up and make them feel they also belong to the body. After this is a call for donation for the church building. For how long are we going to be building structures while men are dying without Jesus? Is this the exact church Christ died for? 

We are increasing in numbers and yet there is increase in all manners of atrocities  and moral decadence in our so called assembly. We have many tongue talkers but very few of us embrace righteousness. Thus, the lack  of the power of God in our nation today. Kudos to those that have let go their all to Jesus. Grace to all the missionaries on the field who are working tirelessly to ensure men are saved and brought to the feet of Jesus.  God will give them more strength. 

Friend, stop being among the people who go about blasphemy, telling others that this Jesus is not real because of the catalogues of disappointments you have seen.  Sorry dear, you haven't seen Jesus. If you see Jesus you will know that more than all your hunger for the acquisition of wealth and all manner of mundane things, their is a reality to be embraced.

Jesus Calls

Hear what Jesus says, Matthew 11:28 "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." This is a clarion call from Jesus to all men. You are expected to come to Him for rest. He has not called you to get money, the purpose for His call is for you to come to Him first. So your strange search for different kinds of earthly things is totally out of it. 

To tell you that you are not just invited to collect what you need and go your way, we need to consider the next verse of that scripture; Matthew 11:29 "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." it is equally a call to bear yoke and lean of Him.  We love to access the hands of God and dodge His dealings. 

You can't be pursuing Christ and be pursuing frivolities at the same time. You need to put the first thing first. In Him is everything you need. You must lay hold on Christ first to have access to what you are running up and down for. Get God and get all. Remember God is not man. Come and learn at His feet and you will find rest unto your soul.
