DIVINE ENCOUNTER PART 2 BY TOSIN ADEGOKE

If you despise divine encounter, you will be countered by the devil. You will need to seek encounter to withstand satanic attacks and seek more encounters to rule over the him. 

PURPOSE OF ENCOUNTER

Encounter places man where he ought to be in the spirit. The limited level you are now is the function of your limited encounters. The more your encounters with God, the more your ability to operate in the spirit realms.

My friend, show me the people you have met or encounter in life and I will tell you your status in the society. Ditto, our authority and audacity in this world is dependent on the encounter we have with the spiritual world.  

Encounter separates men for divine use. Gen 6:8: “Noah found grace in the sight of the Lord.” What makes this so is the Encounter he had. He wouldn’t have found grace in God’s sight if he had never received heavenly visitation. In fact, it is impossible for him to find grace in God’s sight if he is not looking at God’s eyes (Gen 6:9). Obviously, encounter separated Noah for divine assignment.

Jacob encountered God in Bethel in a dream of the night (Exd 28:10-16). Encounter unlocks divine blessings and gives rooms for heavenly revelation for clear and concise understanding of oneself. The major instrument for spiritual advancement and transformation is encounter. 

Most advancements in the spirit are notable products of encounters. The encounter Jacob had with Angel brought about a change of name and identity. He became empowered and encouraged. It doesn’t matter the numbers of years you have been on the same spot not experiencing progress, divine encounter can change your story overnight. 

To operate supernaturally, you must come face to face with the supernatural God. Don't cry for power, seek encounter with God and you will be empowered. The reason you feel so ordinary and empty today is that you haven't encounter God. Listen, every encounter provokes the release of heavenly resources for your supernatural conquest in the life.

PROTOCOLS FOR ENCOUNTER

BE BORN AGAIN
Given your life to Jesus is the beginning of the journey. Don't tell me you have given your life to Jesus and you still go home with it to remain who you used to be. You have given nothing. Men who really gave their lives submitted it on the alter for the Lord. Check closely and you will see the finger of God in them. If indeed you want to give your life to Him, please do it sincerely because that is the pathway to your glorious inheritance in Christ Jesus. 

The disciples of Jesus did not just accept Christ they tarried and gave all of them to get all of God's blessings.  They let go all and pursue Jesus. As a result, Jesus released a dimension of Himself to them for practical demonstration of the power of God.
Matthew 10:1  "And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease."

BE A FAITHFUL DISCIPLE
The scriptures revealed to us the fact that Jesus did not just call anybody to be impacted for manifestation,  He called His disciples. To be a disciple, you must have accepted Jesus first. The word disciple means follower. So, coming to altar to give your life and going out of the church to follow your own way cannot earn you this kind of dimension of grace. 

To receive the touch of God for an outstanding life, you must be ready to learn of Him. Jesus has not called you to be for yourself, rather, He called you to be for Him. So you can't be living for yourself and expect to carry His glory.

Men who carries His glory don't live for themselves, if you see any man expressing the glory of God in an unusual way, such man is in God. To enjoy His glory you must come into Him. Encounter brings us into Him. Seek one today. Jesus knows the importance of encounter that is why He instructed His disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they receive the promise of the Father, (Acts 1:4). 

"You can't carry God if you are not ready to tarry for encounter"

God is in need of you for the revival of our world. Don't be discouraged by your level now... Press more into Him for an encounter.
